Significant Changes Afoot in the organisation of the LAA

Need some welding on your aircraft?

This guy comes with a personal recommendation from Tony Palmer.

Mark is a superb welder, he did two SS Gipsy manifolds for me the other day. He started welding as an apprentice and is now in his 50’s. He has been welding in the shipyards and was recently laid off when the modules for our new aircraft carriers were completed. He has been welding aircraft for about 18-19 years in his days off at aero antiques in Southampton. Depending on what needs doing, he will come to the job or you can post it to him. Full CAA certification

Future Events – Trip to Flyer Live in Telford

Flyer Live is the re-branded Flying Show, now established annually at The International Centre,Telford.  This year it is over the weekend of 28-29 November.  We are proposing to organise a coach trip to visit.  The cost would be approximately the same as last year, £15-£20 (plus the cost of a ticket – discounted for LAA members).  If you’d like to go then it is important to get your name to Tony Palmer as soon as possible.  An easy way to do this is to fill in the form below and click ‘Submit’.
