Down on the farm 44 this month 6/22

This coming club night the 6.7.22 please make an effort to come to the GASCO safety meeting. If you have never been to one then you probably should think about it as you might learn something new. Don’t forget to bring your logbook to have it stamped to say that you were there. Note it starts at 19.30 so try to be there a bit earlier. Tell all your pilot friends, it is for all pilots whether they are LAA or not, fixed wing, gliders, helicopters, microlights whatever!!!

We are still producing the paperwork to get the plane flying with a visit from Francis planned next week.

Flyin at Palmersfarm in August- Saturday 6.8.22

All are welcome, find attached a pdf map with info for driving or flying in. My wife had suggested that the fly-in has a theme, so it’s going to be based on WW2. With food from the time, so come in period costume if you have something suitable (whatever you wear when you go to Goodwood revival) a prize for the best dressed participant. Also it would be nice if all attendees were to bring a suitable raffle prize with all proceeds to the RAF benevolent fund. Food and drink provided.

Fly-in at Chilsfold Farm

The fly-in was well supported by local planes but most of the planes from the West and North scheduled to arrive were barred by a weather front between them and Chilsfold Farm. That is apart from Richard Thomas who flew down the day before in his Bristell to miss the weather. Many thanks to Ian and Farry for holding it.
