Awards at the Royal Aero Club 17.5.22

I received an award at the Royal Aero Club in May. The prize giving was held at the RAF club in Piccadilly, London and many LAA members were presented with prizes. No doubt you will recognise Steve Slater and Francis Donaldson in the first picture.

Receiving my prize from Robert Courts MP Parliamentary under secretary of state and aviation Minister.

The building and location is first-rate and contains so much history over the last 100 years or so, the picture below shows only a minute section of it.

• Strut Club Night this month: Wednesday 1st June, 7:30 pm at The Swiss Cottage, Shoreham.  Beer ‘n chat.
• Also this month: 18 June – Chilsfold Fly-in, fly or drive in.  Phone Farry for PPR.
• Next month’s Strut meeting 6th July 2022, will be a GASCO Safety Night. Download the flyer: GASCO_6_7_22_Poster to print off and put it up at your airfield. Tell all your non-Strut pilot friends about it.
