When we flew the Tiger last month we had noticed a drop in revs on the last climb out so did a mag check once back at the hanger and found the RH mag was not working. When I checked it a few days later it was the magneto at fault so I took it off and went around the corner to the guy who rebuilt it for me. He checked it and it was found to be duff, next day he rang me to tell me the armature had burnt out and that he was rebuilding it for me under warrantee. I got it back last week and it has been refitted, test ran and signed off by Phil Trangmar, awaiting for the rain and wind to stop for a flight test.
PS The river burst its banks last week in JULY!!!!! But is flyable now.
